G’day and welcome to my new online home! I’m excited to share this space with you, where I can showcase my passion for weather and nature photography, as well as offer you a closer look at my journey over the past few years.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Peter, a farmer from South Australia with a lifelong love for weather. From a young age, I was mesmerised by thunderstorms, and while my mum used to scold me for going outside to watch them, I’ve never lost that fascination. Now, after years of farming and watching the skies, I’ve found a way to combine my love for nature with my hobby of photography.
Four years ago, I finally took the plunge and started capturing the beauty, fury, and unpredictability of weather through my lens. Whether it’s chasing storms, photographing wildlife on the farm, or just documenting the landscapes around me, I’m always learning and growing as a self-taught photographer. This website is a way for me to share that journey, the ups and downs, and everything in between.
